Metal Art Lab is the studio of metal jewelery artist and instructor Gwen Youngblood. Located in sunny San Antonio, Texas, we offer structured classes in numerous metal techniques, as well as Play Days (we love those!!). The studio is a large comfortable place, full of top quality tools and materials - the perfect place to meet other artists who share your passion and sense of fun! Whether you want a break from working alone on your projects, or you want to explore new techniques, Metal Art Lab is the place to experiment, learn, let your creativity bloom and just plain enjoy it all with kindred spirits.

We Are On a Mission! Gwen's mission is to make metal working techniques accessible to everyone. She wants to give artists (new and experienced) the opportunity to explore new metal techniques and projects without having to invest in costly and unfamiliar tools.

The result is that students learn more than they expected, have fun doing it and make new friends who share the same passion!!

Students can expect Gwen to share her knowledge and creativity freely, with a dash of humor and lots of caring patience.
